Massage / Bodywork

Massage is where my own wellness journey began and it continues to be part of a regular routine for me.  I’ve been a Certified Massage Therapist since 2012 and I started my business with the intention of creating a haven for personal healing and growth as a natural approach to better health.


Bodywork is a holistic approach to treating your body that incorporates different healing techniques to meet your needs.

Massage therapy has been around for thousands of years -- and probably as soon as humans discovered it felt good to have someone rub their sore shoulders.  It is thought the term ‘massage’ originates from the Greek word massein, meaning "to knead".

While most massage therapy (circulatory massage, deep tissue) is concentrated on relaxation, bodywork is about improvement in function, reduction of pain and wellbeing through techniques beyond the standard range of most entry level massage therapists.  As a bodyworker I will work with you to set an intention for your session and a personal goal for your healing process. 

Since I will be using lotion or oils or a combination of both for this session you will undress, get under the covers and I will expose only the body part which we are working on.  The focus will be on your intention and I will use a combination of different modalities to get you on your way to better health.
